The following map shows speakers’ place of birth within Morocco (speakers indicated with subject code+sex). The table below gives further information about the individual speakers.
Recordings took place in a quiet room at the Ibn Zohr university in Agadir, Morocco, using a Marantz PMD 670 solid-state recorder at a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz, and an AKG C420 III head-mounted microphone.
